Hanover Displays was formed in 1985 in South East England as a privately owned, independent designer and manufacturer of passenger information equipment for the public transport industry. Hanover is a global business, with established subsidiaries in continental Europe, North America and Australia.
The company’s product range has evolved to encompass the latest innovations in led display technology – both monochrome and multi-colour, audio-visual passenger information, automatic vehicle positioning, geolocalisation and fleet management.
Hanover manufactures over 45,000 units per annum across the product range, shipping to customers in over 75 countries throughout the world.
Geemac (NZ) Limited have been Hanover Displays Limited’s exclusive New Zealand partner since 1995, providing sales, after sales, training and technical support for Hanover products located within New Zealand. Together Hanover Displays and Geemac Trading have supplied equipment to all NZ based OEM Bodybuilders including ADL, Kiwi Bus Builders, Global Bus Ventures, Designline, amongst others.
Additionally, both companies also supply most overseas based OEM Bodybuilders delivering product to New Zealand including Optare, ADL, CRRC, BCI, Wrightbus, Foton, Yutong, etc. 100% of operators and OEM bodybuilder customers within New Zealand have a relationship with Geemac Trading & Hanover Displays. These customers include Ritchies Transport Holdings, Go Bus, NZ Bus, Howick & Eastern, Tranzit Group, Pavlovich Coachlines, Bus Travel NZ, Leopard Coachlines, etc.
